Well I just noticed that my serial number on my sim tray on my IPhone 4S is different than the one on the software. I probably switched sim trays because I was messing with my friend's SIM card and they got switched. October 4, 2011*, Disc. September 9, 2014*. Order, MC918LL/A*, Model, A1387 (EMC 2430). Family, iPhone 4S (4s), ID, iPhone4,1. RAM, 512 MB*, VRAM. IPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (GSM model), and iPhone 4S Please see this article for information on how to remove and re-insert the SIM tray. Once you have removed the SIM tray, the Serial Number and IMEI will be printed on the SIM tray as shown below.

At some point in time, you may need to know your iPhone’s serial number and SIM number. And if you don’t have your own phone number memorized, well, it goes without saying that you’ll need to look that up, too. Here’s where to find these three numbers on your iPhone.
Serial Number For Iphone Location
Find your phone number
I know, I know, you probably know your cell number by heart, but if you’re anything like me, it may take months for you to memorize your number, especially if you recently changed it.
iOS gives you a couple different ways to find your phone number. One method is to go to Settings > Phone and then look for “My number.” This will give you your country code, area code, and number. Alternately, you can go to the Phone app, tap Contacts, then scroll all the way to the top. Tap your name and number, and you can edit your own contact card.
Find your serial number
To locate your phone’s serial number, go to the Settings app, tap General, then tap About to view various details about your phone. Scroll down and look for the “Serial Number” entry, and make a note of the alphanumeric string that follows.

Each SIM card has a unique identifier known as an “integrated circuit card identifier,” or ICCID for short. To find this number, head back over to Settings > General > About, scroll down, and look for the ICCID. An ICCID can be quite long, so you’ll want to check and double-check it if you write it down.
Settings > General > About also provides a number of other details about your phone, such as your phone’s model number, its IMEI (another unique identifier that applies to the phone itself), and which version of iOS you’re currently running.
